Vegetation density is the biggest factor, the same way it drives cost — light brush across 5 acres moves quickly, while 5 acres of dense trees and thick undergrowth takes considerably longer. Weather plays a role too; wet ground slows equipment and can make some areas temporarily inaccessible.
Debris handling affects the schedule as well. If material is being hauled off continuously, that adds time compared to piling debris to deal with later. Terrain — slopes, low spots, natural obstacles — also factors in.
Getting a realistic timeline for your property
