Piling material on the property — either for the landowner to deal with later or for burning, where local rules and burn bans allow — is often more economical but leaves a pile on the property until it's addressed.
Mulching, where equipment grinds cleared vegetation into mulch that's spread or piled on-site, is another option in some situations, though it depends on the equipment and scope of the job.
